Consent & Leadership Series
#: 12
Consent Incident Interviewing

C&L: Consent Incident Interviewing
  • Saturday, June 5th, 2021 - 10:30am-1:30pm (Pacific Time)

Once you have a report of a consent incident, you often need to get more information. This can be part of supporting the people involved, or part of getting enough information to formally review the incident. There are good ways and problematic ways to get information from people who are, at best experiencing a lot of feelings, and more likely to be suffering from acute trauma. This class will go over both the information you need and skills for how to do it without causing additional harm.

This workshop will continue giving insight and skills for managing a consent incident. Focusing on how to get more information in a safer, compassionate, and trauma informed way the class will cover the basics of interviewing, things to watch out for, and skills for how to conduct the interview itself. If you ever might find yourself in the position of taking information, about consent or anything else, this class is for you.
  • 3 Hour Online Zoom Class with Q&A throughout. Handouts sent by PDF.
  • To take this class, you need to have taken the “Consent & Leadership: Building a Framework” class, have taken a Consent for Leadership class (2020 or earlier), or get permission from the Consent Academy.
  • This workshop is part of the Consent & Leadership Series: comprehensive topics leaders in the modern world need to know to both understand and manage consent.
