HP LoveshaftHP Loveshaft started performing in and producing drag shows in 2012 in California. In 2019, he moved to Berlin where he has worked full-time as a drag artist. In addition to his drag, he has also lectured on topics ranging from physics to human sexuality at various conferences in the States as well as locally. Over the last year, he has been focusing on making his work more accessible by producing video performances, publishing prior work online, and exploring live-stream performance. He now turns to the radio as a means to connect, drawing on his experience hosting full-length solo shows.
Before moving to Berlin, HP earned a degree in Astrophysics, with a minor in Queer Studies. While at university, he participated in Dr. Bullock's research group on Dwarf Galaxies, where he worked on computer simulations of galaxy formation, investigating hyper-nova explosions. This experience inspired him to enroll at Potsdam University, where he continues to study the cosmos. |
elmyraelmyra is trying to make the world better by creating a culture of consent. Their main focus is research and public education on sexual consent in popular culture, and how our dominant cultural ideas about sex might impair our ability to give truly meaningful consent. elmyra's books, Sexual Consent and Dubcon: Fanfiction, Power, Consent are published by MIT Press. Their musings on consent and representation in video games can be found on Twitch (elmyra23) and YouTube (elmyratube), and they occasionally still hang out on Twitter (@elmyra)
